So far this year, we have had four interesting presentations. Dr. Joel Cuello from the University of Arizona spoke on sustainable economic development in January, Matt Baker from the US Customs spoke about the promise of exports in February. In April, Mura Kacira spoke about the BiNational Research and Development Grant that the Controlled Environment Agriculture Center won with the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) on greenhouse advancements, and long-time member, Glenn Martin, spoke about mining in southern Arizona in May. For more information or access to the power point presentations, please contact Robert Shatz. Are there others you know who may be interested in attending? Everyone is welcome!
