Environmental, Water & Waste Management Consultant Barney P. Popkin, will be our speaker on the subject of "Opportunities for US Exports in the Water Sector."

Barney has recently returned to Tucson after work on an extended projects in his field in Afghanistan followed by another work project in Vietnam. He has explored for and developed sustainable water supplies in the U.S., Asia and the Middle East, Mexico, and Eritrea, evaluated water-resources supply, quality, and management, and assessed water-distribution flood-management practices in many countries and in the U.S., has worked on remediation of contaminated water resources, and more, both for governmental and non-governmental entities.
